Biography
Tingxiao Huo is a Chinese production designer and art director. He graduated from the Beijing Film Academy and began working in film in the early 1990s.
He is known for his production design on Hero (2002), House of Flying Daggers (2004) and Curse of the Golden Flower (2006), all directed by Zhang Yimou. He has also contributed to films including Farewell My Concubine (1993), True Legend (2010) and Black Dog (2024).
Huo has received five Golden Rooster Awards for production design, as well as Hong Kong Film Awards for Hero and Curse of the Golden Flower.
