Biography
Tobe Nwigwe is an American actor and rapper. Born Tobechukwu Dubem Nwigwe on 8 March 1987 in Alief, Houston, Texas, he is of Nigerian Igbo descent. He attended the University of North Texas, where he played American football before an injury ended his athletic career.
Nwigwe began releasing original songs and videos weekly from 2016 and has collaborated with artists including Nas and Pharrell Williams. He made his acting debut as Nick, the childhood friend of the title character, in the Netflix series Mo (2022–2025). He portrayed Reek in the film Transformers: Rise of the Beasts (2023) and contributed to its soundtrack.
