Biography
Tom Bissell is an American journalist, critic and writer. He is the author of eleven books, including The Disaster Artist (2013), which was adapted into a 2017 feature film directed by James Franco. His short stories have been adapted into the films The Loneliest Planet (2011) and Salt and Fire (2016).
Bissell has written extensively for video games, including Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (2016), Gears 5 (2019) and Battlefield Hardline. He co-created and wrote for the Apple TV+ series The Mosquito Coast (2021–2023) and joined the writing staff of the Disney+ series Andor in 2022, writing the final three episodes of its second and final season.
