Biography
Tom Bower was an American actor. Born Ralph Thomas Bower on 3 January 1938 in Denver, Colorado, he died on 30 May 2024 in Los Angeles.
He trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and began his career in the 1950s. Bower appeared in numerous film and television roles from the 1970s onwards. He played Dr Curtis Willard on the series The Waltons (1975–1978) and Marvin in the film Die Hard 2 (1990). Other credits include Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), Nixon (1995), The Hills Have Eyes (2006), El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019) and guest appearances in series such as Grey's Anatomy, The Office and Criminal Minds.
Bower was also a stage actor who founded theatre companies including the MET Theater.
