Biography
Tom Carey was an American actor born on 15 January 1937 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He appeared in films and television series from the 1990s until his death on 20 January 2012 in his hometown.
Carey is credited as Dwight Stephanson in the 1998 film A Simple Plan. His other film roles include the Train Conductor in Spider-Man 2 (2004), the Old Man in Headlights in Drag Me to Hell (2009), and Baxter in Moonlight Mile (2002). On television he played a judge in My Name Is Earl (2006), Rabbi Kaplan in Girlfriends (2003), and Roman in ER (2000). He also worked occasionally in the camera and electrical department.
