Biography
Tom Everett Scott is an American actor, also credited as Thomas Everett Scott. Born on 7 September 1970 in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, he graduated from Syracuse University in drama.
Scott's film roles include Guy Patterson in That Thing You Do! (1996) and David in La La Land (2016). Other credits include Boiler Room (2000), One True Thing (1998) and Clouds (2020).
On television he has appeared as Mr Down in 13 Reasons Why (2017), Adam Fisher in The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022) and in recurring roles in Southland, Z Nation and I'm Sorry. He is married to actress Jenni Gallagher.
