Biography
Tom Finnegan is an American actor. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts, and raised in the Roxbury, South Boston and Dorchester sections of Boston, he served 21 years in the US Army, including two tours of duty in Vietnam, before retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer in 1973.
A late starter in acting, Finnegan began his stage career while attending Ohio Dominican College in Columbus, Ohio. He moved to Los Angeles in 1980 and within six months joined SAG, AFTRA and AEA. His film roles include Oly in Repo Man (1984), appearances in Die Hard 2 (1990), Ghost (1990), Predator 2 (1990), Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult (1994) and Hoffa (1992), and the part of Franklin in Charmed (2002). In 1992 he featured in a FedEx commercial selected as the best of the year by Entertainment Weekly. He received a Master's degree in Theatre Arts from California State University, San Bernardino, in 2013.
