Biography
Tom Wood, also credited as Thomas Mills Wood, is an American actor born on 19 April 1963 in Long Beach, California. He is known for portraying law enforcement characters in several films, most notably as Deputy Marshal Noah Newman in The Fugitive (1993) and its sequel U.S. Marshals (1998).
Wood began his career in 1988 with roles in television and film, including appearances in Under Siege (1992) as Private Nash, Apollo 13 (1995) as EECOM Gold, Avalon (1990), Ulee's Gold (1997) as Jimmy Jackson, and Bushwhacked (1995). He has worked with directors including Andrew Davis, Ron Howard and Barry Levinson.
On stage, he appeared on Broadway in Harold Pinter's No Man's Land alongside Jason Robards and Christopher Plummer, and in various off-Broadway productions.
