Biography
Tomie Kataoka (片岡 富枝) is a Japanese actress and voice actress. Born on 2 November 1944 in Matsudo, Chiba, she is affiliated with the Seinenza Theater Company.
She has worked in stage, television and film since the 1960s, and as a voice actress since the 1970s. Her credits include the voice of Mino in Millennium Actress (2002), Mrs Nirasaki in Wolf Children (2012), and roles in Ponyo (2008) and Cowboy Bebop (1998). She has also provided Japanese dubbing for Disney characters such as Kanga in the Winnie the Pooh series and Flo in the Cars films.
