Biography
Tommy Lee Wallace (also credited as Thomas Lee Wallace) is an American film director, screenwriter, editor and production designer. He began his career collaborating with John Carpenter, receiving early credits as art director on Dark Star (1974) and Assault on Precinct 13 (1976).
Wallace served as production designer and co-editor (with Charles Bornstein) on Carpenter's Halloween (1978) and The Fog (1980). He later directed Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982), which he also wrote, Fright Night Part 2 (1988) and the 1990 television miniseries adaptation of Stephen King's It. Other credits include second-unit direction on Big Trouble in Little China (1986) and episodes of The Twilight Zone (1985).
