Biography
Torleif Hoppe is a Danish screenwriter. Born on 27 December 1965 in Copenhagen, he was co-creator of the television series The Killing (2007–2012) and wrote the screenplay for all three seasons, contributing to more than twenty episodes.
He has also written episodes of Nikolaj og Julie (2002) and Those Who Kill (2011), provided storyline for The Bridge (2018), and created and written the series DNA (2019). Earlier in his career, Hoppe was a member of the rock band D.A.D. and directed the documentary D.A.D.: True Believer (2008) about the group.
