Biography
Tracy Reed (born Clare Tracy Compton Pelissier) was an English actress. She was born on 21 September 1942 in Barnet, Middlesex, and died on 2 May 2012 in County Cork, Ireland. The daughter of director Anthony Pelissier and actress Penelope Dudley-Ward, she took the surname of her stepfather, director Sir Carol Reed.
Reed appeared in films and television from the early 1960s to the mid-1970s. She is best known for playing Miss Scott in Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964). Other film roles include Dominique Ballon in A Shot in the Dark (1964) and the Fang Leader in Casino Royale (1967). She also appeared in series such as The Avengers and UFO.
