Biography
Trevor Laird is a British actor. Born on 11 July 1957 in Islington, London, he trained at the Anna Scher Theatre and was a founder member of the Black Theatre Co-operative (now NitroBeat) in 1978.
His early film roles include Ferdy in Quadrophenia (1979), the boy under the car in The Long Good Friday (1980), and Beefy in Babylon (1980). He played Hortense's brother in Mike Leigh's Secrets & Lies (1996) and appeared as Frax in the 1986 Doctor Who serial Mindwarp, later returning as Clive Jones in the revived series.
Laird has also appeared in Small Axe (2020) as Augustin, Cruella (2021) as Asthma Man, and Ted Lasso (2020) as Denbo, among other television and stage work.
