Biography
Trevor Ray (1934–2019) was a British actor, writer and script editor. He worked as an uncredited assistant script editor on the BBC series Doctor Who from 1968 to 1970 and contributed to the script for the 1970 serial The Ambassadors of Death. He also appeared on screen in the same series as a ticket collector in Doctor Who and the Silurians (1970).
Ray later served as script editor on Paul Temple (1970). With Jeremy Burnham he co-wrote the children's serials Children of the Stones (1977) and Raven (1977), and their novelisations. His acting credits include The Sicilian (1987) as Frisella the Barber, Little Dorrit (1987), Shadow of the Noose (1989) and Ladies in Lavender (2004).
