Biography
Troy Lum is an Australian producer and former film distributor. He began his career in distribution at Dendy Films in 1996 and in 2002 co-founded Hopscotch Films, which released numerous independent titles including The Blair Witch Project and Amélie.
As a producer, his credits include The Water Diviner (2015), Nekrotronic (2018), Lee (2024), The Convert (2024) and Dangerous Animals (2025). He has served as executive producer on Saving Mr. Banks (2013), I, Frankenstein (2014) and the Netflix series Boy Swallows Universe (2024). Lum founded production company Brouhaha Entertainment in 2021 and was inducted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2019.
