Biography
Ty Olsson is a Canadian actor. He was born on 28 January 1974 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and trained at Studio 58 in Vancouver.
Olsson has appeared in supporting roles in films including X2 (2003), The Chronicles of Riddick (2004), Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), 2012 (2009), Godzilla (2014) and War for the Planet of the Apes (2017). On television he has played Benny Lafitte in Supernatural and roles in The 100 and Arrow. He voiced Ord in the animated series Dragon Tales and portrayed Mark Bingham in the television film Flight 93 (2006). He played Mitch Collins in the 2023 film Thanksgiving.
