Biography
Uberto Pasolini is an Italian film producer, director and former investment banker. Born in Rome in 1957, he studied at Atlantic College in Wales and the London School of Economics before working in banking. He entered the film industry in the 1980s, working on productions including The Killing Fields and The Mission.
Pasolini founded Redwave Films in 1994. He produced the international hit The Full Monty (1997), directed by Peter Cattaneo. He has also written, directed and produced Machan (2008), Still Life (2013), Nowhere Special (2020) and The Return (2024). He was previously married to composer Rachel Portman.
