Biography
Uli Latukefu is an Australian actor and singer. Born Taliaʻuli Latukefu in Australia to Tongan parents, he is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). He first gained attention as a contestant on the 2004 season of the reality singing competition Australian Idol.
Latukefu is known for his roles as Byamba in the Netflix series Marco Polo (2014–2016), Cole in the film Alien: Covenant (2017), and Dwayne Johnson (aged 18–20) in the NBC series Young Rock (2021–2023). Other credits include Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan (2019), Black Adam (2022) as The Champion, Next Goal Wins (2023) as Nicky Salapu, and MaXXXine (2024).
