Biography
Uno Helmersson is a Swedish composer and multi-instrumentalist. Born on 28 March 1977 in Sävar, he trained at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm.
He is known for his scores for the television series The Bridge (2011) and the documentaries Armadillo (2010) and Flee (2021). Other credits include The Absent One (2014), The Lion Woman (2016), A Nearly Normal Family (2023), The Remarkable Life of Ibelin (2024) and Let Go (2024).
Helmersson has received awards including a Cinema Eye Honor for Outstanding Original Score for The Remarkable Life of Ibelin and recognition for his work on Flee.
