Biography
Ursula Andress is a Swiss actress. Born on 19 March 1936 in Ostermundigen, she studied art in Paris for a year before moving to Rome, where she worked as a nanny and took walk-on roles in Italian films including An American in Rome (1954).
Her breakthrough came as Honey Ryder in the James Bond film Dr. No (1962). She later played Vesper Lynd in the Bond parody Casino Royale (1967). Other credits include Fun in Acapulco (1963), 4 for Texas (1963), The 10th Victim (1965), The Blue Max (1966), Red Sun (1971), Clash of the Titans (1981) and Peter the Great (1986). She was married to actor and director John Derek from 1957 to 1966.
