Biography
Valerie Leon is an English actress and model. Born in London in 1943, she began her career as a trainee fashion buyer at Harrods before appearing as a chorus girl and making her West End debut in Funny Girl with Barbra Streisand.
She is known for roles in six Carry On films, including Carry On Camping (1969) as Miss Dobbin, and two James Bond films: The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) as a hotel receptionist and Never Say Never Again (1983) as the Lady in Bahamas. Other credits include The Italian Job (1969), Blood from the Mummy's Tomb (1971) in a dual role, Revenge of the Pink Panther (1978) and The Wild Geese (1978). She also appeared in television series such as The Avengers, The Saint and The Persuaders!.
In the 1970s Leon featured in the Hai Karate aftershave television advertisements.
