Vanessa Smythe is a Canadian actor. She was born on 25 March 1982 in Toronto, Ontario.
She is known for her role as Michio in the television series The Expanse (2015–2022). Other credits include the film Trap (2024) as Tour Manager, Pieces of a Woman (2020) as Linda, Mrs. America (2020) as Shirley MacLaine, and appearances in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022) and Hudson & Rex (2019). Smythe is also a writer and director of short films.
