Biography
Vangelis Kazan (Greek: Βαγγέλης Καζάν) was a Greek character actor. He appeared in The Travelling Players (1975) as Aegisthus and in Landscape in the Mist (1988).
His career in theatre, cinema and television spanned half a century. He repeatedly collaborated with director Theo Angelopoulos and received the Best Actor award at the Thessaloniki Film Festival in 1975 for his performance in The Travelling Players.
Kazan was born in Nafplion and died in Athens on 10 March 2008.
