Biography
Viktória Petrányi is a Hungarian producer and writer. Born in Budapest in 1976, she graduated as a producer from the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest. She has worked as a producer and scriptwriter since the late 1990s.
In 2003 she co-founded the production company Proton Cinema with director Kornél Mundruczó. The company has produced Mundruczó’s films including Delta (2008), White God (2014) and Jupiter’s Moon (2017). Petrányi received a screenplay credit on White God, which won the Un Certain Regard prize at Cannes.
She has produced or co-produced numerous international features and co-productions, including The Brutalist (2024) and The Testament of Ann Lee (2025).
