Biography

Vincent Perez is a Swiss actor, director and photographer. He was born on 10 June 1964 in Lausanne. He trained at the Conservatoire in Geneva, the CNSAD in Paris and the school of the Théâtre Nanterre-Amandiers.

Perez first gained international attention for his role as Christian de Neuvillette in Cyrano de Bergerac (1990), for which he received a César Award nomination for Most Promising Actor. He appeared in Indochine (1992), Queen Margot (1994) and The Crow: City of Angels (1996).

He has also directed several films, including the feature Peau d'Ange (2002). Perez has been married to actress and screenwriter Karine Silla since 1998.
