Biography
Vincent Tavier is a Belgian film producer, screenwriter and actor. Born in Namur in 1962, he co-wrote the screenplay for the mockumentary Man Bites Dog (1992), in which he also appeared as an actor and served as production manager and assistant director.
In 1993 he founded Todo Films to support emerging directors with short films. He has produced and co-written a range of features, notably the animated films A Town Called Panic (2009) and Ernest & Celestine (2012), as well as live-action titles including Calvaire (2005), Alleluia (2014) and Adoration (2019). He collaborated with Benoît Poelvoorde on the Canal+ series Les Carnets de Monsieur Manatane (1997).
