Biography
Vipin Sharma is an Indian actor, editor and filmmaker. Born on 18 February 1962 in New Delhi, he trained at the National School of Drama and the Canadian Film Centre. He began working in television in 1989 and made his feature-film debut in 1996. His breakthrough came with the role of Nandkishore Awasthi in Taare Zameen Par (2007).
Sharma has appeared in numerous Hindi films and international productions. Notable credits include Major Masand in Paan Singh Tomar (2012), Ehsaan Qureshi in Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 1 (2012), Dilip in Hotel Mumbai (2019) and Alpha in Monkey Man (2024). On television he has played DCP Bhagat in Paatal Lok (2020) and Sambit in The Family Man (2019).
