Biography
Walid Afkir is a French-Moroccan actor and screenwriter, born on 2 September 1982 in Montreuil, Seine-Saint-Denis, France. He is also credited as Walide Afkir or Belkacem Walid Afkir.
He first appeared in Michael Haneke's Code Unknown (2000) as The Young Arab. Afkir is known for his role as Majid's Son in Haneke's Caché (2005), for which he received a nomination for the César Award for Most Promising Actor. Other film credits include Paris, je t'aime (2006), Amour (2012) and Burn Out (2018). He has appeared in television series including Lupin (2021) as Kad.
