Biography
Warwick Sloss is a British cinematographer and camera operator specialising in wildlife, natural history and science documentaries. He trained as a bursary camera trainee at the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol from 1995 to 1998 and has worked freelance since 1998.
His credits include cinematography on an episode of Planet Earth II (2016), director of photography on Our Planet (2019), Dynasties (2018) and Life on Our Planet (2023), and additional photography on Casino Royale (2006). He has also contributed to series such as The Life of Mammals (2002) and The Hunt (2015).
Sloss has received Emmy recognition, including a 2017 Primetime Emmy as part of the cinematography team for Planet Earth II and a 2012 win for individual achievement in cinematography for a documentary.
