Biography
Wes Ball is an American film director, producer and visual effects artist. He was born on 28 October 1980 and graduated from the Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts with a BFA in 2002.
Ball began his career with animated short films, including Ruin, which led to his feature debut directing The Maze Runner (2014). He went on to direct the sequels Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials (2015) and Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018). He also directed and produced Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024).
