Biography
Wesley Lau (18 June 1921 – 30 August 1984) was an American actor and occasional screenwriter. Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, he studied playwriting at the University of Wisconsin and received a Master of Arts degree from Yale Drama School before training at the Actors Studio in New York.
Lau was best known for his recurring role as Lieutenant Andy Anderson in the television series Perry Mason (1961–1965), appearing in more than 80 episodes. He also appeared in episodes of The Twilight Zone, The Time Tunnel, Bonanza, Mission: Impossible and The Six Million Dollar Man, and had roles in films including The Alamo (1960) and I Want to Live! (1958). In 1971 he received story and teleplay credit for the Mission: Impossible episode 'The Field', and he later contributed to the screenplay of the 1975 film Lepke.
