Biography
Whip Hubley is an American actor. Born Grant Shelby Hubley Jr. on 17 May 1957 in New York City, he trained at the University of Vermont after attending Montclair Kimberley Academy.
He is best known for his role as Lieutenant Rick 'Hollywood' Neven in the 1986 film Top Gun. Other credits include Russkies (1987), Species (1995), Executive Decision (1996) and A Cinderella Story (2004). He has appeared in television series such as Charmed and CSI: Miami.
Hubley is the brother of actress Season Hubley. He has been married to producer Dinah Minot since 1988 and they have three children. He has lived in southern Maine since the 2010s, where he works in construction and performs in local theatre.
