Biography
William A. Graham (1926–2013) was an American television and film director. Beginning in the late 1950s, he directed episodes of many series, including The X-Files (three episodes, 1993–1998), The Fugitive, Batman, Ironside, The Big Valley and The F.B.I.. He also directed the pilots for The Big Valley and Police Story.
Graham directed feature films such as Change of Habit (1969), Elvis Presley's final film, Honky (1971), Where the Lilies Bloom (1974) and Return to the Blue Lagoon (1991). He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for directing the television film Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones (1980).
Born in New York City, Graham studied at Yale University and the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. He died in Malibu, California.
