Biography
William B. Stich (1947–2017) was an American film and television editor. Born in Lancaster, Wisconsin, he worked primarily in television, editing episodes of series including Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1993), T. J. Hooker (1982) and Fantasy Island (1978–1984). He edited 28 episodes of The Sopranos (1999–2007).
Stich received seven Primetime Emmy nominations for his editing work, including for episodes of The Sopranos. He was also nominated for an American Cinema Editors Eddie Award for his work on the series. Other credits include the television films The Lost Battalion (2001), 44 Minutes: The North Hollywood Shoot-Out (2003) and Project: ALF (1996). He was a member of the American Cinema Editors.
