Biography
Willis Bouchey was an American character actor who appeared in films and television from the early 1950s until the early 1970s.
He is credited as Zara in Pickup on South Street (1953) and as Jason Tully in The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance (1962). He appeared in numerous films directed by John Ford, including The Horse Soldiers (1959), Sergeant Rutledge (1960) and Two Rode Together (1961), and delivered the final line of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance. Other film roles include Lt. Ted Wilks in The Big Heat (1953).
On television he guest-starred in series including The Twilight Zone, Bonanza, The Munsters and Get Smart, and played judges in 23 episodes of Perry Mason. He was also part of the stock company for Dragnet.
