Biography

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a composer. He was born on 27 January 1756 in Salzburg, in the Holy Roman Empire, and died on 5 December 1791 in Vienna.

He received early musical training from his father Leopold and toured as a child prodigy across Europe. Mozart composed extensively in Salzburg before moving to Vienna in 1781, where he produced operas, symphonies and other works. His music features in the film Amadeus (1984).
