Biography
Woody Fu is an American actor and writer based in Los Angeles. Originally from New York, he is a veteran of the UCB Theater, where he performed improv, sketch and characters. His comedy work has taken him to Boom Chicago in Amsterdam, where he created an original sketch revue as the company's first Asian American actor, and to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Fu has appeared in films and series including Companion (2025) as Mateo, Pluribus (2025) as Dave, Spirited (2022) as Charlie, Your Monster (2024) as Nurse Roger, Hit & Run (2021) as Teddy Symons, FBI (2018) as Dr. Chen, Monsterland (2020) as Meagher, No Good Deed (2024) as Jerry, The Other Two (2019) as Applebee's A.D., and Girls5eva (2021) as Director. He was featured as a New Face of Comedy by Just For Laughs and has created solo shows including Asian Gracefully and Woody Fu: One-Man John Wick.
He is a regular contributor to The Onion and co-hosts the Emotional Slut podcast.
