Biography
Yahlin Chang is a television writer and producer. She wrote four episodes of ER (1994) between 2002 and 2005, and also served as story editor, executive story editor and co-producer on the series. Her other writing credits include episodes of Ed (2000), Dirty Sexy Money (2007), Pan Am (2011), Supergirl (2015) and The Handmaid's Tale (2017).
Before entering television, Chang graduated from Yale University in 1994 and spent six years as a writer, reporter and cultural critic for the Arts and Entertainment section of Newsweek magazine. She has been an executive producer and co-showrunner on The Handmaid's Tale, for which she received a Humanitas Prize in 2020 and multiple Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
