Biography
Yuki Hayashi (林 ゆうき) is a Japanese composer and arranger. He was born on 31 December 1980 in Kyoto.
A former competitive men's rhythmic gymnast, Hayashi became interested in music while selecting accompaniment for his routines. He taught himself composition while at university and later studied under house and techno producer Hideo Kobayashi. He began his professional career in 2009, initially with the agency Legendoor before establishing his own company, Hayashi Factory, in 2021.
Hayashi is best known for his anime soundtracks, including Haikyu!! (2014) and My Hero Academia (2016). His other credits include Death Parade (2015), One Piece Film: Gold (2016), and several My Hero Academia films.
