Biography
Wakana Okamura is a Japanese anime producer. She began her career at DLE before joining TOHO animation at its establishment and is now affiliated with STORY inc.
Her television credits include PSYCHO-PASS (2012), Haikyu!! (2014), Blood Blockade Battlefront (2015) and My Hero Academia (2016). Film work includes Weathering with You (2019) and Suzume (2022).
She received the Japan Academy Prize for Best Animation Film for Weathering with You in 2019 and the Excellent Animation Film Award for Suzume in 2022.
