Biography
Yuliya Snigir is a Russian actress and model. She was born on 2 June 1983 in Donskoy, Tula Oblast. After studying English philology at Moscow State Pedagogical University, she trained at the Vakhtangov Theatre Academy and began her acting career in independent films.
Her breakthrough came with leading roles in the Russian science-fiction films The Inhabited Island (2009) and its sequel The Inhabited Island 2: Rebellion (2009). She made her Hollywood debut as Irina Komarov in A Good Day to Die Hard (2013). Snigir has also appeared in the television series The Young Pope (2016) and The New Pope (2020), and starred as Margarita in The Master and Margarita (2024). She has worked extensively in Russian film and television.
