Biography
Adam Noah Levine is an American singer, songwriter and actor. He is the lead vocalist of the pop rock band Maroon 5. Levine co-founded the band Kara's Flowers in 1994; after its sole album failed commercially the group reformed in 2001 with guitarist James Valentine and adopted the name Maroon 5. Their debut album Songs About Jane (2002) achieved multi-platinum status in the United States.
Levine made his acting debut in the second season of American Horror Story (2012) as Leo Morrison. Subsequent roles include Dave Kohl in Begin Again (2014), a cameo in Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016), and appearances as himself in Pitch Perfect 2 (2015) and The Clapper (2018). He has also contributed music to series including The Sopranos and served as a coach on The Voice from 2011.
