Biography
Ahmed Best is an American actor, voice actor and musician. He is best known for portraying Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999), a role he reprised in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002) and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005), as well as in Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008–2014) and other Star Wars media.
Best trained as a percussionist at the Manhattan School of Music and performed with the stage show Stomp before being cast as Jar Jar Binks. He later appeared as Jedi Master Kelleran Beq in The Mandalorian (2023) and hosted Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge (2020). He has also worked in television series including Alias (2001) and Big Time Rush (2009–2013).
