Biography
Aimee Carrero is an American actress. She was born on 15 July 1988 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and raised in Miami, Florida. She graduated from Florida International University in 2008 with a degree in international relations and began her professional acting career in 2007.
Carrero is known for her leading role as Sofia Rodriguez in the sitcom Young & Hungry (2014–2018) and as the voice of Princess Elena in the animated series Elena of Avalor (2016–2020). Her film credits include Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel (2009), The Last Witch Hunter (2015), The Menu (2022) and Holidate (2020). She has recurring roles in series such as The Americans (2013) and Maid (2021).
In 2025 she joined the main cast of the Apple TV+ series Your Friends & Neighbors as Elena Benavides. She is married to actor Tim Rock.
