Biography
Aimee Mullins is an American actress, athlete and public speaker. Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania, she had both legs amputated below the knee at the age of one due to fibular hemimelia. She competed as the first amputee in NCAA Division I track and field events while at Georgetown University and represented the United States at the 1996 Paralympic Games in Atlanta.
Mullins began modelling in 1999 and acting in 2002. Her film credits include Cremaster 3 (2003), Rob the Mob (2014), Young Ones (2014), Unsane (2018) as Ashley Brighterhouse, and Asteroid City (2023). On television she has appeared in Agatha Christie's Poirot, Stranger Things as Terry Ives, MacGyver, Devs and Bull. She is married to actor Rupert Friend.
