Biography
Aisha Muharrar is an American television writer and producer. She graduated from Harvard University with a degree in English and American Literature and Language, where she served as vice president of the Harvard Lampoon.
Muharrar began her television career as a staff writer on the animated series Sit Down, Shut Up (2011). She joined Parks and Recreation (2009–2015) as a writer and rose to co-executive producer over six seasons, writing 14 episodes. She later wrote for and served as co-executive producer on The Good Place (2016–2019). She has written and produced for Hacks (2021–) from its second season onwards. Her work on the series contributed to a Primetime Emmy Award win for Outstanding Comedy Series. She is also the author of the novel Loved One (2025).
