Biography

Alain Dessauvage is a Belgian film editor. Born on 31 December 1973 in Roeselare, he graduated in 1994 from the RITS (now RITCS) in Brussels in the image, sound and editing section.

He has edited numerous feature films, including Moscow, Belgium (2008), Bullhead (2011), for which he received the Magritte Award for Best Editing, Girl (2018), Close (2022) and Small Things Like These (2024). He has collaborated repeatedly with directors such as Lukas Dhont.
