Biography
Alanis Morissette is a Canadian-American actress and musician. Born in Ottawa, she has appeared in a number of film and television roles, often playing herself or in cameo parts.
Her acting credits include the role of God in Dogma (1999) and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), Dawn in an episode of Sex and the City (2000), Dr. Audra Kitson in Weeds (2005–2010), and a guest appearance as herself in Curb Your Enthusiasm (2002). She has also performed musically in De-Lovely (2004).
