Biography
Aleksandra Staszko, also credited as Ola Staszko, is a Polish costume designer born on 15 November 1975 in Warsaw. She has worked in film, television and theatre since the early 2000s.
Staszko is known for her costume design on Cold War (2018), Ida (2013), Mr. Jones (2019), Demon (2015), Mayday (2021) and Imagine (2012). She has also designed costumes for Fatherland (2026) and Köln 75 (2025).
In 2003 she won the award for best costumes at the Gdynia Polish Film Festival for Zmruż oczy. She has received nominations for the Polish Film Award (Orzeł) for Ida and Baby Bump, and is a member of the Polish and European Film Academies.
