Biography

Ewa Puszczyńska is a Polish film and television producer. She studied English at the University of Łódź and began her career teaching English and translating dialogue for film and television. In 1995 she joined Opus Film, where she started working as a producer.

Her credits include Paweł Pawlikowski’s Ida (2013) and Cold War (2018), Jonathan Glazer’s The Zone of Interest (2023), and Jesse Eisenberg’s A Real Pain (2024). In 2015 she founded the production company Extreme Emotions, co-managed with her daughter Emilia. She has also co-founded NEM Corp and served on juries at international film festivals.

Puszczyńska has received BAFTA awards for Ida and The Zone of Interest, as well as other European and Polish film awards.
